The first time I heard the work tape for this song years ago, it was instantly one of my favorites we do and still is. This is my kind of drumming right here. I’m not good enough for impressive chops or really intricate parts as much as I love watching and envy those drummers. But if the song could use the old 1 2 3+ 4 rock groove and a few ghost notes, then I’m there. There is a click running during this but I took it out of this mix because A.) it didn’t demonstrate anything particularly educational or entertaining. I pretty much nailed it. And B.) it was distracting from what I’m really trying to show in this video which is just some really simple drums. For those wondering, this is just a stereo rip of my ear mix. I was able to take the click out of this mix by replacing the left channel with what’s in the right. It alters the mix a bit since I have some panning going on but it still gets the idea across. #drums #drumcam #groove
