Last night, we welcomed the five brilliant creative thinkers from across the African continent who were selected for Villa Albertine’s latest exploratory residency! In an exclusive inaugural roundtable discussion, world-renowned art curator N’Goné Fall, who collaborated on the selection of residents, spoke to the residents—filmmaker Bahia Bencheickh El Fegoun, visual artist and astrophysicist Caroline Gueye, art curator Missla Libsekal, ecosystem developer Judith Okonkwo, and choreographer Jay Pather—about their residency projects, the creative dynamics specific to the African continent, and the perspectives they bring to current social justice issues.
