One of the really common things we see with people when they go through their catch in that first movement of the stroke: ➡️A good catch should have fingers pointing down to the bottom of the pool. ➡️Two key steps: Point fingers to the bottom of the pool and bend or hinge at the elbow. ✅This position provides a larger surface area and paddle to push back against the water. ❌If fingers remain forwards, it doesn’t provide much propulsion and may drop the back half of the body. Pointing fingers down to the bottom after reaching forwards is a good cue to improve the catch. #swimming #triathlon #training #learntoswim #swimlessons
