Last year I ran my first 100k at Cuyamaca. It’s a fantastic race made possible by an amazing race director and so many fantastic people that volunteer and support the race. @dash4th was my crew and pacer and she made finishing possible when I wasn’t sure it could happen. This year I was able to do longer trainer runs leading up to Cuyamaca and felt more confident about the whole experience. @fitnessandpibbles was my patient pacer and she brought me home. In 2021 I started putting my race medals up in my cubicle at work because these last few years have been an uncertain time and they are symbols of a community that has supported and enriched my life.
