It’s been 5 years since I moved to Copenhagen. When I initially set my eyes on living in this newly discovered city, I didn’t really know what I wanted from it other than just a break from living in America. It’s an honor to look at where I’ve gotten in the past 3.5 years since I started to pursue music full time. It’s been hard work and I’m not even close yet to where I want to be as an artist (that’s the journey I’m trying to embrace). I’m grateful for all of the new angles I’ve started to embrace about life that I honestly couldn’t have gotten staying in NYC. Who know how long I’ll live in CPH, maybe forever, maybe a couple more years- the road is open and blank. But for now, I will be honored to be mentioned amongst great artist in this new/special edition of @vman magazine as one of the emerging "Sound of Scandinavia" having that recognition from a magazine back home in NY makes my heart swoon.
