Big on Bulgogi !!️ 🔥 This marinade is absolutely delicious on super thin cuts of beef. Because it has pears in it specifically fresh pears the meat can get mushy if you leave it overnight so a few hours is all you need to get it even more tender. Calpain in an enzyme in pears that helps achieve that tenderness. I made some delicious tacos with the bulgogi meat, refried beans, cheese, sour cream, Traeger hot sauce, and rice. I also put a couple of green leaves of lettuce and spinach in there just to make myself feel better about eating “healthy lol” 🔥 BULGOGI marinade 2 lbs Tri tip or rib eye sliced super thin 1/4 inch thick 1⁄2 cup Low sodium soy sauce 1/4 cup Brown sugar 1 tbsp Minced fresh ginger 1 tbsp Gochujang hot pepper paste 2 tbsp traeger hot sauce 3 tbsp sesame oil 2 tbsp Minced garlic 1/4 tsp Salt 3 tbsp Mirin 1⁄2 cup Diced onion 2 super ripe Pears finely diced 1/4 tsp Black pepper INSTRUCTIONS: In a food processor or blender, pulse onions and pears until finely pureed. Add in soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, Gochujang, sesame oil, mirin, salt and black pepper. Blitz until well combined. Place beef slices in a bowl or Ziploc bag. Marinate for 1 hour to a max of 3 hours. Preheat your @traegergrills grill to 450F and place a cast iron pan on the grill To heat with 1 tbsp Avocado Or canola oil. When the pan is super hot ..... Sauté onions until translucent then add all of the beef and marinade into the pan. Cook for 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes. I prefer mine to be medium rare but if you want it cooked more continue for another 10 Minutes. Serve the meat in tacos or burritos or salads or over hot white rice.
