I did a little research on asters this week and found out that they are also called starwort, the name aster coming from the Greek word for star. In one Greek myth they were formed from the tears of Astraea as she wept from the sky, creating stars on Earth. They were sacred to Hekate in ancient Greece, and associated with Venus during the Roman Empire. They are currently growing wild all over our land, filling the field with purple, symbolizing love, hope, light, and the divine feminine. Little stars on the ground and a clear sky of stars overhead. I love where we live. When it stops raining I'll be harvesting some of these for the altars of both Hekate and Venus. P.S. if you want this connection with the divine feminine, synchronicity all around you, beauty in your everyday -- get on the waitlist for The Venus Codes! My VIP offer drops to the waitlist on Sunday. DM me 💌 your best email to get in on it.
