The exhibition "Vittore Carpaccio: Master Storyteller of Renaissance Venice" opens this weekend at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. and runs through February 12, 2023, followed by Palazzo Ducale in Venice from March 18, 2023–June 18, 2023. Three paintings recently conserved by Save Venice from the Scuola Dalmata di San Giorgio degli Schiavoni and Palazzo Ducale are featured in the show. Chairman Frederick Ilchman, Project Director Christopher Apostle, and Venice Office Director Melissa Conn were on hand to celebrate the exhibition's inauguration, and were joined by Guardian Grande of the Scuola Dalmata Piergiorgio Millich, Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia President Mariacristina Gribaudi, and conservator Valentina Piovan.
