Happy Purim to all! I did this little illustration of Queen Esther this year- I think about the weight of what she did to save her people, and how hard it is to stand up against not only your "king" but also your community sometimes to save those you love. Historically, many terrible things happened to the Jews on this day, despite it being a day of celebration for us (or maybe because it is a day to celebrate for us), I am praying today is a meaningful one that we can unite under to take down those that want to harm us.
