Our season ends in our conference semifinal. To all of our families, friends, alumni, and fans, thank you for your continued support throughout the season. It has an immeasurable impact on the team and never goes unnoticed. Like many teams, we end up disappointed with our season ending where it did. We didn’t achieve the goals we set out to achieve and feel like we came up short of expectations. However, there was so much we did achieve and accomplish this season too. We battled and fought through constant adversity and setbacks on and off the field, and had people step up for themselves and the team from start to finish this season. The team played with a pride that never wavered, and always walked off the field knowing they gave the best they could that day. As coaches, we finish the season with that same feeling of disappointment, but also with hearts full of pride and love for the men that represented this team. We couldn’t ask for anything more from them, and they can hold their heads high as we move forward. We fell short this season. But we won’t forget this season, either. It hurts, but that pain will be our fuel for the next 9 months. We will be back. See you next fall 🦁
