Another from my sketching day in the Jardin du Luxembourg - something I love about Paris: how things that might normally seem mundane are suddenly fascinating. Like the day the topiaries got a haircut - it was so interesting to see what a huge operation this was to keep all those topiaries looking their best. I spotted this grouping just outside the l’Orangerie - wasn’t sure if they were about to be deployed into the garden or if they were going inside for the season.
