A while ago I was interviewed by @weirdo.zine and I spoke in length about our need to rid ourselves of what we knew before and unlearn the tactics we are told worked before, so that we can start afresh and try to save our environment... The governing and mainstream system we currently have is narrow. A squatting, tired thing that is simply ordered, cut and pasted to preserve the will of very few. Even these few it will run out of juice and serve thinly before too long. This system is built upon capitalism, it is moulded by patriarchy and it serves a god of privelege and elitism. It will never save our wildlife and it will never save or have the interests of the people at heart, at least not if it is left to its own devices and allowed to be run its course as it still does...it should be unpicked and refreshed, rebuilt by those of us who understand how to erect a system that cares, that listens and that understands.
