My response is a celebratory WOOOOOO and maybe a big fat kith!!!! hahaha jokes. 🤡 It’s very possible to get retention like this with just a good ol cleanse and no other solutions used but how..? - proper prep - proper glue usage and knowledge - using the proper adhesive for your specific microenvironment - having a controlled micro environment - proper attachment and healthy natural lash:extension weight distribution - client aftercare Idk who needs to hear this and I’m saying this because I care about you .... You can have all the products in the world that promise better retention but if your foundation is not there, there really is no point. If you are heavily relying on products to help amp up your retention, I encourage you to humbly go back to the basics and work on all the points listed above. Don’t get me wrong- I love using primers and bonder and they do work. Once you find that your retention is 💯 just from the basics, then start to implement more variables into the prep / overall set if you want even greater retention. Working with less products make it easier to identify which variable(s) is not fitting in the equation. Here’s also another reminder that bad retention doesn’t make you a bad lash artist but it is also not an excuse to point fingers. We all experience them from time to time. The unseen things can be well, unexplained at times and even frustrating especially when clients aren’t 100% truthful. Instead focus on the things that you can control (bulletpoints above) and always lead and educate with a good attitude!
