This past year of travel I’ve been trying to really appreciate as many moments as possible. I kind of compare it to taking a little memory snapshot. I think about the sounds, the sights, the feeling of the wind, the way the light is painting the landscape, the sense of peace and calmness I feel. I’ve found that sometimes putting the camera down and going off to just soak in the moment for yourself can be incredibly rewarding and humbling. This sunset was one of those times: we were out in a wide valley, surrounded by mountains but they were all quite far away. As well as firing off a few shots at 400m of the peaks, I also really wanted to appreciate this place. Luckily I had @theworldwithsarah lurking behind me taking photos to help build a happy little series 🙃
