HOW TO DETERMINE YOUR OWN HOURLY RATE!!️👇🏼 I got TONS of questions on the last post about this so here’s a quick breakdown of what I believe determines what you CAN charge! 👉🏼 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE - no explanation needed, your experience does hold weight on your pricing 👉🏼 PRODUCT COST - this will vary, but make sure your rate is enough to reflect what you may use, if it’s not, I suggest having an “extra bowl” add on 👉🏼 DEMAND - are you booked solid? this demands a higher price point, if not, hold off before you raise it 👉🏼 YOUR TIME - most of us have a roundabout time it takes us to do certain services, make sure you aren’t underselling yourself 👉🏼 SPECIALTY SERVICES - this means anything other then BASIC services, if you’re offering fusion color techniques, you should consider charging hourly as this can take 3-5 hours or more 👉🏼 YOUR EDUCATION - do you invest in yourself?
