Congratulations to SANAA, headed by architects Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa – just announced as the 2022 recipients of the Praemium Imperiale for Architecture! SANAA has received numerous awards including the renowned Pritzker Prize, and their design for our own spectacular new Art Gallery building is highlighted in their Praemium Imperiale body of work. We're delighted with this well-deserved recognition for SANAA's architectural accomplishments, and can't wait to showcase their design of our new building when it opens to the public in December this year.
