I promised myself that when I received a big platform, I was going to use it for “good” and you’d see ALL of my sides — the fun, the shady, the comedic, the sometimes annoyed, but always honest. I’ve had to sit with my feelings for a long time about how I’ve felt about #BlackExcellence. Over time, it has become doused with elitism.
