Put me on display 🌿 found this awesome 3D augmentation by @carla.batley of a photo by @priscillacscott that I hadn’t had a chance to share when Natura LP came out in the spring 💚 On a related side note- I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what releasing music means in today’s day & age, and what an album cycle looks like anymore (if anything?). I might be conditioned from the ways thing were, but I feel like I’m still not done holding space for Natura- my first full album which took such a big chunk of me (and time!) to write and release. I know it’s important to aspire to build a strong body of work thru the years vs dwelling on one release, but sometimes it feels like we just say ‘ok what’s next!’ the moment an artist releases something and I’m like 😬 I’m still tired from releasing the last one!
