5 womxn from the @contact.creatives community spent a total of 3 days in our London studio to produce a creative shoot for International Womxn's Day. We had one open brief: The Evolution of Femininity. Together, we explored the meaning of femininity and how our understanding of it has evolved over time. As well as responding to our own lived experiences, we took inspiration from powerful stories shared by womxn from community. Each womxn created their own futuristic deity or mythical god to personify their femininity and to capture the emotions felt from other womxn. The end result of our collaboration is truly powerful and ethereal.
