🇫🇷 Bonjour from Paris, where the exhibition Maree Clarke: Rituel et Cérémonie: extrait de Mémoires ancestral has just opened at the Australian Embassy. On show are 84 of the Melbourne-based artist and designer’s photographic portraits, and nine kopi (widows cap) that make up her seminal 2012 installation, Ritual and Ceremony. Maree Clarke, who is a Yorta Yorta / Wamba Wamba / Mutti Mutti / Boonwurrung woman, travelled along with the exhibition’s curator Myles Russell-Cook, to Paris for the exhibition opening last weekend.
