Happy first Monday of the new year! How gorgeous is this home office? I love a vaulted ceiling (and big windows!), and @plankandpillow has some of the most beautiful designs.
Welcome to the Monday U.P.D.A.T.E.—a weekly series about things I’ve used, saved, and appreciated this week. Creating this was so fun, and I hope you enjoy it!
U - Using: My best 2024 purchase: the Tineco wet-dry vacuum. Yes, it screams “middle-aged woman,” but it’s worth every penny. I tell everyone how much I love it! Linking in my stories—it’s $100 off now.
P - Prioritizing: A consistent sleep schedule. I’m in bed by 10 PM and up at 5:45 AM. I aim to stick within an hour of this even on weekends—it’s made a big difference in my energy levels during the day.
D - Doing: Prepping the boys for a new semester. We’ve gotten lots of questions about homeschooling—it’s more “schooling at home” now. They attend an online private school, so technically, not homeschool, but still at home!
A - Appreciating: Routine. I love the holidays, but this year’s holiday lull felt endless (maybe it was the calendar dates?). Either way, I’m glad to be back to a regular schedule.
T - Trying: Stars & Honey protein bars. I got a tester pack, and the nutritional profile is amazing—15g protein, 10g collagen peptides, and just 2g sugar. My favorites are dark chocolate and espresso cinnamon vanilla. Highly recommend!
E - Enjoying: Wintery weather. It’s 22º as I write this, and there’s a winter storm coming. Hoping for snow this week—fingers crossed for a snow day, not a Texas-style shutdown!
