Here’s a Hare’s Ear Fungus (Otidea). When you blow into the cup, it causes a change in air pressure that causes the needle shaped asci lining the inside of the cup to rupture and launch spores up into the air. This is an inedible Ascomycete cup fungi/mushroom that grows in mixed hardwood and conifer forests. You can differentiate Otidea from similar looking Peziza cups because it has one open side and a stripe/stem under the cup.
