I’ve always wanted to live in London. More than that - I’ve always known I would. I remember coming here a decade ago and just having a feeling about it. But I forgot about that for a little while. I was focused on career, following the safety of the path ahead, ticking boxes, doing the stuff and the things and I’d quietly accepted that the sacrifice for security = missing the boat, that I was ‘too old to do the London thing.’ HOW WRONG I WAS. Because once I began rebuilding my life in a more brave, more truthful way, I realised I’d not missed the chance to do anything. Because whatever you want to do, whenever you want to do it - is possible, if you decide it to be so. So here I am, the most deeply truthful version of myself I’ve ever been - with a whole bunch of songs in my back pocket that I can’t wait for you to hear, living in the place I’d decided YEARS ago had slipped through my fingers. I was riding my bike through quaint neighbourhood streets today with a huge, dumb smile on my face, because the energy that inherently comes with taking risks and allowing space for expansion and fulfilling things you’d decided to be impossible feels fucking brilliant.
