I can not wrap my head around this. All I know is that the pain I feel does not even come close to what the parents, teachers, and children of the Robb school in Uvalde are going through right now. Prayers, yes, always, and in the face of such cruelty and injustice, even harder than ever. The evil that so many witnessed Tuesday is unfathomable. Katie and I called our police department and school board because we need to know that they are doing everything they can to keep our children safe and, if not, what needs to be done? We need to keep our kids safe in their schools and fighting for gun control, though necessary, won’t happen overnight and is not the only action we can take. We need to do SOMETHING. ⬆️ These are our # 1s and will not be forgotten. Instead of dropping our usual podcast, Katie and I share some thoughts and some actions we can take today on @makingitwork in the hopes of trying to insure our children’s safety.
