y’all— not only did american (tele)visions get a great review in the new yorker—it also got this gorgeous illustration. what a dream. **also, as far as I can tell, I’m the first Mexican/Mexican-American to get reviewed in @newyorkermag since @theluisalfaro in 2019. And in terms of Latinx writers, Matthew Lopez also got reviewed that year and we’ve had none since. Which is terrible on its own terms, but also reflective of the lack of productions by major theaters of Latinx plays.
