Meet #VillaAlbertine resident Pierre-Alexandre Savriacouty, who has spent the past month crafting sculptural anchors on the banks of the Great Lakes🌊 In his recent project, he explores the sedimentation of matter and the the capacity of water to reveal, conceal, and destroy by recreating poignant scenes of objects, or “anchors,” that were bogged down in rivers and lake beds. This month, he took this project to #Chicago, where his residency is based, and researches the environment, biodiversity, and histories of Lake Michigan to creates sculptures inspired by and composed from the site itself.
