I’ve had questions on how I make sure chrome doesn’t stick to the background. ⠀ Well I found that there are two ways that work best. ⠀ 1. After your gel polish is cured wipe the inhibition layer (sticky layer) twice using two separate lint free wipes. 2. This is my go to, wipe the inhibition layer (sticky layer) and then buff the surface with a 240g buffer. ⠀ I find that the second way ensures definite isolation. ⠀ To get your chrome to stick to only where you want the design use a gel paint with no inhibition layer, cure for 60 seconds then using a silicone tool start buffing in the chrome. ⠀ Give it a go, let me know how you get on.
