Last week I lost my Mr. Teddy to leukemia cancer 💔 I cannot be more devastated. Even though we were on this journey together for just a year, I loved him very much. He was the most loving, playful cat, always next to me. Looking to donate Teddy’s toys, food etc. I was researching NYC shelters and come across the dire statistics: after the pandemic there has been 25% increase in abandoned animals. Shelters are overcrowded. As it’s getting colder in the city, the best things for kitties and doggos, after a loving home, are warm blankets and towels. I saw a lot of cats are kept in metal cages and develop colds. Food is also much needed.
