A couple of weeks ago I heard @scottbelsky speak at the @adobeuk #FutureOfCreativity event about how we as creators need to be empowered by new tools and skills to visually express ourselves and tell a story. His talk inspired me to to create this artwork titled “Meta Spirit” which speaks to personal growth, where alternate and parallel realities go hand in hand with learning new ways of self-expression. This virtual self-portrait examines how we need to evolve and adapt in order to experiment and develop our practice in this space. I'm very happy to have participated in the same event, where I shared how connection and collaboration within my own art practice was facilitated and powered by the Metaverse and blockchain, and how building real human connection in shared virtual spaces was the key to unlocking my dreams.
