Yesterday, before i went on live @cnn , my friend @brooke_baldwin reminded us that it was 1 year ago that she invited me on her show to discuss the increased attacks on Asians at the start of the Pandemic. Sadly since then, the attacks have only sky rocketed into daily occurrences of violent, unprovoked, deadly attacks across all generations in the Asian communities. i dont know what to even say or feel at this moment. i woke up this morning, looking at myself asking - ‘why this country doesn’t understand that we are Americans also!? Asian americans. Enough is enough, the silence, apathy and hate must end.
