Councilmember Pluckebaum and I had the honor of holding the ribbon at the finish line of the California International Marathon today. More than 9,000 runners made their way from Folsom to the Capitol, and the energy along the course was incredible. CIM brings a significant boost to our local economy by drawing athletes, families, and supporters from across the country who stay in our hotels, visit our restaurants, and support local businesses. Thank you to the organizers who make this event possible each year and to Visit Sacramento for helping showcase our city. Congratulations to every runner who crossed the finish line.
