Dear Notre Dame: Thank you for taking a kid from the suburbs of Detroit and turning me into the man I am today. You’ve taught me life-long lessons both on and off of the field. You’ve taught me how to be a professional in more ways than on the gridiron. You’ve taught me how to come out of my shell and to trust myself. You’ve allowed me to chase my childhood dreams and build bonds that will last a lifetime. As I write this and reflect on my time at Notre Dame I must thank everyone that made this experience one that I’ll treasure for the rest of my life.
