MOTOWN MADNESS 2025 Spending the weekend with the best people out on the lake enjoying God’s creations was more than I could have ever asked for. This weekend was full of worship, fun, deep talks, and spiritual growth. As we went through 1 John this weekend, a key point that stuck out to me was that God’s light needs to shine through us in our day-to-day lives. Seeing seventeen 10th grade guys discuss how they are going to let God shine through them was so encouraging. It was an amazing reminder that who you surround yourself with is crucial in your walk with Christ. It is a lot easier to see in a dark room when you have sixteen other lights shining with you. Satan will attack in the darkness, so let your light shine and surround yourself with others who will help guide and lead you.
