Today is #BlackWomensEqualPayDay–the date that Black women must work in 2022 to earn what their white men counterparts did in 2021. Over a lifetime, the impacts are staggering. The wage gap costs Black women $1,891 a month, $22,692 a year, and $907,680 over a 40-year career. Black women deserve better; it is past time that Black women are paid what they are owed!
