I’ve always been worried that if I promoted myself it would make others feel less than. So instead of dealing with the anxiety, and worry of negatively impacting people. I opted to not deal with it at all. But with it being AAPI heritage month and people reminding me that my journey has the ability to inspire and have a positive impact too. I’m posting this. I am Chinese American. I grew up in Michigan. I studied pre-med and was planning to go to Med school before deciding to pursue a career as a performer. I made my Broadway debut in Hamilton. I became an ensemble swing on Hamilton and learned what I’m capable of. I became an emergency cover for Hamilton after 2 years of being with the company. I’m going on for Hamilton for the 6th time this Tuesday May 24th. I couldn’t have achieved this without the support of my family and friends. I’m still learning and growing. You can do it too. . . .
