“Please” felt sort of @chrisisaak meets @elviscostello to me when I wrote it on the couch at 69 Leonard St in NYC 25 years ago 🤦🏼‍♂️ I was slowly, painfully coming to the realization that everyone had a real job but me, and it was making me n-n-n-nervous. 😳😬 It’s not a popular take, but I say thank God my twenties are over cuz figuring out how to do what I wanted to do sucked. But I would like my hair back.
