I might be late to the @instantpotofficial party, but I’m here 🥳...especially for this game-changing method of making the easiest pasta bolognese that doesn’t require boiling a pot of water, draining pasta, cleaning an extra pan, or scrubbing a splattered stove...start to finish takes less than half an hour!!! I’ll be teaching this and two other great one pot pressure cooker meals in my class this Sunday! Come join me + we can trade instant pot notes!!!!!!!! —> juliaturshen.com/classes ✌🏼 1. put it on the saute setting, add a little olive oil + brown a pound of ground meat (I used turkey, you can use anything...beef, pork, sausage out of its casing, plant-based ground ‘meat’...I bet even lentils would be great) 2. season with salt, garlic powder + oregano (or whatever you want) 3. add 3 cups of tomato sauce (I use @raosnyc) and 3 cups of boiling water (I just use the 24 oz jar from the sauce) 4. stir in a pound of short whole wheat pasta (rotini, penne, etc...not spaghetti...note that I haven’t tried this with regular pasta but I think it would work well if you do quick release!!) 5. cook on high pressure for 5 minutes, let it naturally release for 5 minutes, then vent the steam 6. stir in a big spoonful of sour cream for some extra creaminess + acid (or don’t, whatever!) 7. serve hot with grated cheese So fast, so easy, so little cleanup, so comforting. 🧡
