So how do you do it? How do you create a brand/salon clients believe in, want to be a part of, and will continue to support year over year? 1. You create a brand that is built on a strong foundation of core values and purpose. Our business is way more personal than buying a bag at LV. So focus on creating relationships and Building trust. It’s about conveying your message in a way that people feel they HAVE to be a part of. What is your brand? It is your warm and inviting, inclusive, kind, fun, educational, just to name a few. How do you want your clients to feel when they leave? What are clients saying about you to their friends and family? 2. Set the standard and the tone. If the entry point is with a discount or promotion that is not well thought out, clients will get used discounts and promotions. And if you’re constantly offering a promo think of the client you are attracting. The ones that ONLY come to you because they are saving a buck. Remember what i ALWAYS say. You create the standard and have the client meet you there. Not the other way around. This is huge with pricing as well. Stand your ground and market to your target client. Not the masses. 3. Focus on value. For LV it’s the quality of product right? What is the value that you offer your client? What are you willing to do when it comes to the details that NO ONE else will? It starts way before they come in. The level of service provided upon booking, upon entry and greeting, extended consults, extended shampoo experience, and follow up and feedback. But it sure by end there. How often are you communicating with your clients between services. Email campaigns are huge in this way. Why? Keeping the relationship fresh and building trust. Drop questions and tag a friend ❤️
