In November 2018, our campus community was forever changed by the events of the Borderline Shooting—where one of Pepperdine’s own, Alaina Housley, tragically lost her life—and the Woolsey Fire, which ignited just hours after the shooting, quickly reached our campus, and impacted many members of our community. We pause to remember those who were lost and those whose lives were forever changed by these tragedies.
