I remember when I first stumbled upon a travel influencer on Instagram. I was totally perplexed- how was she traveling so much?! While I was heavily on my path towards becoming an interior designer I remember thinking if a job existed where I could travel and take photos, that would be my dream job. I proceeded to study abroad only a month later- running around Europe for 4 months, my attention increasingly drawn towards the destinations I could photograph and explore rather than the architecture I was supposed to be studying. Without consciously realizing it, I stepped off my path of interior design and onto a new path. I’ve worked a 9-5, Cafè gigs, retail, hostessing, freelance design, all while working on this dream in the background. While it hasn’t always been the easiest decision I know I would have always wondered “what if?” I know now that I would have missed out on tons of amazing people & experiences, so regardless of how it all turns out I think I can easily recommend: just follow that dream ✨ 📸 by @drewchak & edits by me 😊
