chapter two: ‘sun glitter’ by @muuuule sun glitter is my favorite ocean dance. when the light hits the waves it creates little movements, sometimes barely even noticeable. i’ve realized how much i’ve taken the ocean for granted in life recently. it can really make you feel like you are at home wherever you are. i picked up a super8 camera before i left for my summer adventures (had to hop on the trend, duh) and i’m unbelievably surprised and pleased with the results. there’s something so extremely special about not knowing what you have captured until months later when the forgotten footage gets sent back from the lab (s/o @on8mil fr) all the memories come dancing back into your brain, like sun glitter dancing on ocean waves. so many new places and faces and stories. being able to share summer moments with new friends, old friends, and strangers will always put a smile on my face. so, thank you to all the people who let me become a part of your stories and lives, and thank you for becoming a part of mine. thank you to everyone for making me feel so very at home even though i am far away from it (what even is home, anyways?) and thank you to everyone for pointing into the distance and laughing when i asked you to (i told u it wld be cute) sending love and the spirit of adventure samuel (mule) #super8 #summer #experimental #cine #filmmaking #filmmaker #shortfilm #on8mil #shootfilm #analoguecommunity #kodak #ishootfilm #portugal #london #8mm #indiefilmmaking #shootfilmstaybroke #filmisnotdead #colour #cinefilm #perforation
