Pierre Sauvage, Paris-based tastemaker and artistic director of the delightful home ware line @casa__lopez, demonstrates how one might update a derelict 15th-century French chateau. “Old houses are marvelous,” says Sauvage. “But you have to find a way to keep the charm while making sure you can live in it and it can carry on forever.” Working with his longtime collaborator the interior designer/restorer Franz Potisek, Sauvage brought his signature sunny exuberance to the chateau. “I love bright colors,” says Sauvage, who is shown horseback in final image.
