Birthday mid-life crisis? I say, reborn at 49. Most of my decades have been filled with difficult circumstances, challenging relationships and a deep void in knowing and loving myself. My commitment to become whole, although painful, has granted me a priceless refinement in character. I have learned great lessons on being human and on humanity as a whole, that I deem invaluable. Man, do I love people and our ability to change and morph into a higher version of self. I have so much gratitude for the opportunity and the will to evolve. That said, I am turning the page on arduous self growth and entering into a new chapter. I am now looking forward to receiving, and determined to grow through Joy. Unlike happiness, joy can carry you through it all - the highs, the lows, the beautiful and the grotesque. Joy is a lightness of heart and an appreciation for the gift of existence in all its varied forms and seasons. I will be pursuing pleasure with a vengeance and exuding delight through every encounter. Life has been so gracious to me, and I intend to live it wild - all while creating beauty along the way.
