she’s imperfect but she tries, she is messy but she’s kind...everyone deserves a slice of happiness - @waitressuk 🥧 • We’ve had tickets booked for @waitressmusical for so long that when the date finally came around it almost didn’t feel like we was going but I’ve been so looking forward to seeing this musical & it exceeded expectations. I was obsessed with singing the soundtrack & so when we saw it was touring, we got tickets. None of us knew the storyline so we got to see the story unfold in front of us on stage which was amazing. We loved it! Can definitely see why it’s a 5 star musical comedy, beautifully done. The cast were incredible, @chelseahalfpenny playing the role of Jenna, her vocals while singing She Used To Be Mine gave us goosebumps, so powerful. Going to see a show on a whim not knowing anything about it but knowing it has good views & getting to experience everything for the first time is becoming a favourite way of watching theatre💙on a side note, think this outfit would be more fitting at a rodeo but I’m here for it🤍 • Accessibility: @royalnottingham is a venue I’ve been going to since I was kid & the transition from going as an able bodied audience member to wheelchair user has been so simple. Both venues (theatre & concert hall) are accessible & you can register on their access list to make bookings quick. I chose to transfer this time in the stalls on row d so close to the stage with a great view.
