Most adorable/strange bird to watch 🐧🇮🇸 Didn’t think watching Puffins would be so fun. We were lucky enough to see a ton of puffins nesting on the cliffs at Dyrholaey on the south coast. Watching these guys hop around, dive off cliffs into insane winds, and sometimes catch a mouthful of fish was such a blast 🤙🏻 When we made it to the east coast we travelled up to Borgarfjörður to another nesting spot. Here you could safely get a lot closer to their burrows, and if you sat long enough you’d see them pop out (slide 4) and say 👋🏻 Great contrast from my first trip here in 2016 where we didn’t spot any, to being able to sit 2 feet away from them 🐧
