Another decade closed and a new one beginning! Over the past couple months, I’ve had a lot of time on my own to reflect on the past, present and future of this incredible life we live. When I think about the past. I’m presented with victories, joyous moments, unforgettable experiences and challenges met head on and overcome. But, I’m also met with memories that are painful, failures, bad decisions and missed opportunities. The beauty of the past is we will carry all of it with us always. And that is a GREAT thing! It’s gives us a map for our present and motivates us towards future possibilities. We’ll keep having wins, there will be moments to celebrate, there will be more failures, and there will be more pain. I’m excited to meet it head on and I hope you are too! I want to say a big thank you to everyone that reached out and showed me love on my birthday. I cherished every call, text, post etc! Thank you to my family for always supporting me, challenging to reach for the stars, blessing me with so opportunities to make my dreams a reality, and most importantly loving me unconditionally. You guys inspire me everyday and I hope I can do the same. Finally, I want to say thank you to some of my best friends on this planet that I’ve had the privilege of spending the past 2 weeks on the big island celebrating my 30th with. The amount of love they have shown me not only these 2 weeks but over the course of my lifetime is indescribable and I’m so thankful for them. They’ve taught me so much about life, how to find limitless joy in the small moments, how to go far together, and accepting me even when I didn’t always deserve it. As the saying goes - never above each other, never below each other, always beside each other. I can’t wait to keep exploring life side by side with y’all! I’ll end with this. No matter where you are, no matter what challenges life throws at you, no matter how messy life gets, soak it all in! Keep fighting for each other. Life isn’t meant to be done alone.
