The magical @helenekildebadehotel , a traditional Danish “bathing hotel” an hour outside CPH on the Kattegat coast, was a rec I’m so happy to have followed. Decided to take the weekend after @cphfw to explore a little more of Denmark. This cliff side beach hotel built in 1896 was reimagined by former Royal Danish Ballet dancer @alexanderkolpin who also created the beautiful @hotelsanders in CPH. The interiors feel warm, residential, and incredibly personal, and the rooms’ balconies overlooking the sea are simply stunning. I took bracing daybreak dips like the locals and rode my bike all around the charming town as one does here in Denmark. The dining here was as extraordinary as the sunset views from the hotel’s seaside patio. I can’t wait to return!
