S H O O T • • • Here’s my takeaway from @officialcnfr in #CasperWY: . . These kids have bright futures ahead of ‘em, because they already have a story to tell. A story of putting hard work into a goal. For few - that goal is accomplished. For most, they’re blessed with a lesson. A story of risk. If you’ve never been to a rodeo, go - you’ll see what I’m talkin’ about. If you’re near @visit.casper - there’s still time to make the finals tonight at @fordwyomingcenter. Leave now. A story of team effort and individual responsibility. My cousin is a rodeo coach for some of these athletes - and it takes a village, a large team of support to get these guys and gals where they are - but when the gate opens they have to figure out how to bring it all together in just a few short seconds. That lessons in that pressure will pay dividends for the rest of their life. Proud of you guys. Win, lose, DQ - you shot your shot and the world has a lot to learn from you. @visit.casper you didn’t disappoint. Start to finish I had a great time in Casper and I’ll be back. Thanks to everyone who had their part in serving my time there and special shout-out to everyone to actually came out to the friendly ghost town to hang out. Let’s do it again sometime.
