there is no combination of words put together to describe my junior season that could ever truly encapsulate what it has meant to me. this season has been about setting big goals and accomplishing them, aiming to have fun and surprising myself, and most importantly, working harder than ever and finding joy in the process. they say that our sports are the training ground where we learn who we are going to be in life. where we train not only our bodies, but also determine how we will handle our attitudes and care for our mental health. so, through my running I want to learn to live life all out, with no strongholds and no intimidation. I want to train myself to live in the moment and not mourn the loss of speculated opportunity. I want to steward my gifts and prove to myself that things can change and there is always hope in Christ.
