Back in 2021 I had the pleasure of watching @joshuaraywalker perform for the first time. I’ve never been much of a country music listener, but there was just something about his music that grabbed my attention. I caught him again at the same venue the following year, where he put on an equally spectacular show. I spoke with him on both occasions and managed to capture some pretty cool images during those two performances. In January of 2024, Joshua announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He’s been undergoing treatment ever since that diagnosis and unfortunately the cancer has now spread to his lungs.
